University Students - Love in Action

These young people are either at University or waiting to go to university, sponsorship for Full Time University is £75 per month or £45 for Part Time (Usually at the weekends) You may part sponsor a student.

215 John Mugera 2012 August	School: Muteesa 1 Royal University Class Other1 Gender: Male Age: 22 Years Old Ambitions: To work in either music or the tourist industry Other Information: John's parents died when he was young and he was brought up by his grandmother. He has three siblings. John has finished secondary school is currently working for Love in Action. He is planning on going to University in September (2012). 274 Lydia Nabisubi 2011	School: Cavendish University, Kampala Class Uni Degree Gender: Female Age: 24 Years Old Ambitions: To be an Accountant Other Information: Lydia became an orphan early in her life and was cared for by relatives and friends. Lydia went to a variety of schools as she moved around, finally dropping out of school after Senior 2. In 2005 Lydia came to work with Beryl & Alan as Housekeeper and worked really hard, she saved half of her wages and joined Senior 3 Adult Education Classes studying every evening. Then in 2008 she joined Masaka Secondary School for her O Level year (S4) full time, but still helping at home in the evenings and holidays, which she continues to do. She achieved a grade 2 pass at O level and really wanted to join S5 for a 2 year A Level course. In 2011 she completed her S6 (A Levels) and is now studying for a degree in BBA (Accounting and Finance) at Cavendish University in Kampala. 368 Harriet Kahunde 2011	School: Muteesa 1 Royal University Class Uni Degree Gender: Female Age: 21 Years Old Ambitions: Studying Software Engineering Other Information: Harriet was orphaned early in her life and has been assisted by her uncle. Harriet has two younger siblings; Simon (P5) and Agness (P4), who live with an auntie in Fort Portal. Her aunt is a primary teacher with four children. Harriett loves God and is seeking to follow Him faithfully. Hariett is now attending University in the evenings and studying for a degree in Software Engineering.
